Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before using this web site, as it is a legal document between you (the ‘user’) and the owner and operator of Edmond Travel Limited, the owner of the web-site - www.hotel.com.hk, who shall be referred to herein as “the company”. By using this web site, you signify your agreement to these terms of use.
We reserve the right, at our discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of these terms at any time. Please check these terms periodically for changes. Your continued use of this web-site following the posting of changes to these terms will mean you accept those changes.

The company has adopted a privacy policy to demonstrate our firm commitment to the privacy of our site visitors. We fully respect your privacy and are committed to protecting it. We use the information we collect to process your requests and to personalize broadcasts of information on travel products that may be of interest to you.
The company does not sell or trade your personal information to others. All of the customer data we collect is protected against unauthorized access. If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those changes on this page so that you are always aware of what information we collect and how we use it.
The company requires all visitors to this site to adhere to our rules and regulations. This site or any portion of it may not be reproduced or copied or otherwise exploited for any commercial purpose without the prior approval of Edmond Travel Limited.

Booking Terms & Conditions
Hotel
1. All hotel reservations depend on the confirmation from hotels.
2. All hotel reservations should be paid before the date of Check-in
3. Some of rates are valid on weekdays only which are not valid on holiday and eve holiday.
4. Once hotel reservation was confirmed, whole period guarantee is needed for the reservation. The accommodation should not be cancelled, refunded and modified in any case.
5. No refunds will be given for unused room nights.
6. Hotel rates quoted are our special contract rates given by the hotels and based on a discount from the hotels’ published rates. However, the hotels have the sole discretion to offer promotional rates lower than ours to walk-in customers at any time without prior notice. Thus, any cancellation made in order to avail the user to such lower rates is still subject to the cancellation charges listed.
 
Purchase of Flight Tickets, Hotel Vouchers and Packages
Flight tickets, hotel vouchers and package holidays purchase will be subject to the terms and conditions of the various suppliers and operators.
The company acts as agents for all services and products purchased. In the event a service or product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, we shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for service or product listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed and charged.
The company acts as agents for all services and products purchased, and is not liable for any claims against non-fulfillment or unsatisfactory fulfillment of services and products purchased on the user’s behalf by the company from other third parties, such as, but not limited to, airlines hotels, tour operators, car hire companies, insurance companies, and other entities.
The user understands that all services and products purchased require fulfillment and documentation, such as issuance of air tickets and travel vouchers. Fulfillment is performed during normal office hours. As such, any travel requests and bookings made require a processing time of at least one working day’s notice, subject to the specific conditions applicable to the type of service or product purchased.
In the event that any purchase cannot be fulfilled for any reason whatsoever between the time of booking and the time of departure, the company shall not be liable to the user for any claims for loss, damages or compensation, subject only that all unutilized monies collected from the user for that purchase shall be refunded in full.
The company reserves the right to accept or reject any booking and to decline any purchase for any reason whatsoever at its sole and absolute discretion and the company shall not be liable to the user for any claims for loss, damages or compensation in respect thereof, subject only that any unutilized monies collected from the user for such booking or purchase shall be refunded in full.
The user agrees to bear the cost of any penalties and administration fees for services or products booked but not utilized for any reason.
The user agrees that multiple over-lapping bookings for the same traveler/s are not allowed and may result in penalties, which the user will bear.
 
Payment of Flight Tickets, Hotel Vouchers and Packages
Payment may be made by cash, cheque, credit cards and a signature or verification may be required upon delivery or pick-up.

 

Liabilities and General

  1. You warrant that you legally bound to enter into this contract. All bookings are personal to you and may not be sold, assigned or otherwise transferred.
  2. Passport, visa and health requirements for you and your party are your responsibility. You are strongly recommended to obtain insurance for travel, medical and or otherwise.
  3. Although we take reasonable care to ensure that published descriptions are correct we do not own or operate hotels or other accommodation or travel services. We accept no liability for errors or omissions in the description of accommodation or other travel services on the web site. We reserve the right to change your accommodation booking to one of at least comparable standard and to notify you of such change as soon as possible after it occurs. No compensation is payable for such changes. In extreme circumstances we may be forced to cancel your booking in which case you will be notified of such change as soon as possible.
  4. In no circumstances shall we be liable for any consequential and indirect loss or damage.
  5. We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance of our obligations, which results directly or indirectly from any cause or circumstance, which is beyond our reasonable control. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the following shall be regarded as such circumstances: act of God, outbreak of hostilities, riot, civil disturbance, acts of terrorism, revolution, the act of any government or authority (including but not limited to refusal or revocation of any licence or consent), fire, flood, epidemic (including sudden influzena & S.A.R.S etc), lightning, explosion, fog or bad weather, interruption or failure of a utility service (including but not limited to electricity, gas, water or telecommunications), renovations undertaken by the hotel or other accommodations or accommodation providers, strikes, lockouts or boycotts, embargo, blockade.
  6. We reserve the right to change these bookings terms and conditions from time to time.
  7. To the extent permitted in law, all conditions, warranties or obligations whether express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise are excluded and these terms shall apply in their place. However, this will not apply to Edmond Travel's liability for death or personal injury caused by Edmond Travel's negligence, in respect of which there is no limitation.

 
Governing Law
The use of this web-site and the terms and conditions set out above shall be governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region.
